Río Tárcoles

I guess, they take in the sun because they are cold blooded, and they need the sun to warm up their blood! A fun fact I didn't know. These guys were just laying there, up and down the river on both sides. I wanted to throw something to get them to run around, but I obviously didn't have a chunk of raw meat with me. I couldn't even find a stick. But I guess it's a good thing, cause that would have been mean.

This is one of the most contaminated rivers in Central America (!) But the cocodrilos have adapted to it really well. On our way back, there were many cows hanging out here, and no cocodrilos! It was strange  looking - too bad my camera was dead so I couldn't take a picture.
